About Us

The Spotswood Fire Department Enterprise Hook & Ladder Inc., is a 100% volunteer organization providing fire protection, rescue, and other services to the 8,200 residents of the Borough of Spotswood, located in southern Middlesex County, New Jersey, nestled between East Brunswick, Monroe, and Old Bridge Townships.  Covering a service area of 2.5
square miles, we operate with three engines, a brush unit, out of two stations, one on Main Street and one at the Borough Yard on Third Street.

Founded in 1898, the Spotswood Volunteer Fire Department is celebrating its 119th year of dedicated service this year. Please explore this new website to learn more about us, photos and videos of the department in action, and also learn some information about fire safety.
