#1, is a 1921 Ford Model T.  It was the first piece of motorized fire apparatus the Fire
Department had ever purchased. It was purchased by the fire company at a cost of
$3,346.

It served for many years along side other apparatus until being retired from active
service.  It was decided to keep it for parades and as a sign of history for both the Fire
Department and the Borough of Spotswood.

Having undergone many renovations over the years, we attempt to keep it in as original
condition as possible consulting mechanics who specialize in vehicles this old.

Now 90 years old, the Enterprise Hook & Ladder Company is looking forward to
celebrating this amazing piece of machinery's 100th anniversary in 2021.
